WHAT IS THIS SITE?

“When is (that coffee event) happening this year?”

“When is the best time to host a coffee event?

“There are TWO major events scheduled for the same weekend in two different places?! How did this happen?!”

If you work in the coffee industry you’ve probably asked or been asked these questions by a colleague. There are a number of sites that track events, but none of them are comprehensive, lack critical details, or enable a way to sort by geography or event type.

Over the years, I’ve collected and shared countless calendars, spreadsheets, and link lists of coffee events taking place around the world to help plan events or be present at events. I find joy in compiling these lists, ensuring that I’ve captured the major coffee events or emerging events representing small-but-mighty coffee communities, and helping colleagues and friends be in the right place at the right time.

Enter When is Coffee? – grammatically awkward but here to provide a quick-reference listing of all the major upcoming coffee events around the world. Sort by geography and event type, with added insight into choosing the right event to attend for your needs.

I hope you find this site helpful; I’m always open to questions or conversations about ways to improve, sponsorship (especially if you’d like to highlight your event!) and, of course, let me know if there’s an event I’m missing!
